Assignment lab One:-
Question: Compare and contrast a Sony Walkman with an Apple iPod, and describe the differences in their physical construction, interface design, technology and delivery of sound. Quick sketches are helpful for this analytical process.
Apple IPod:-

High quality of sound
- Easy to use, thin can fit anywhere, very slim and is very fashionable.
- The screen is clear; songs appear clearly on the screen.
- Has a high memory card that fits thousands of songs on the iPod. The smallest memory card fits a thousand songs.
- The sound is very clear.
- Can charge the battery whenever, and very easily.
- The buttons are all touch, they are digital
- A variety of colors are available, a variety of sizes are available.
- Can fast forward songs very easily on the iPod
- . Can update the software, change and chose playlist songs, and albums on ITunes.
Walkman:-
- The quality of the sound is not as good as the iPod.
- Walkman is heavier and bulkier than the iPod cannot fit anywhere ex, pocket.
- Old fashioned.
- Batteries are not rechargeable. Need batteries.
- Not convenient as the iPod.
- Cassettes cannot fit as much songs as the hard drive (iPod).
- There is no screen to control which songs, one wants to listen to unlike the iPod you can modify and chose which songs by looking at the screen.
- The tape may jam.
